After a long day of interviews and much discussion, the membership made the
following unanimous endorsements for the 2008 State-Wide Office's:

Governor: Jim Douglas

Lieutenant Governor: Brian Dubie

Auditor: Tom Salmon

Secretary of State: Deb Markowitz

Treasurer: Jeb Spaulding

Attorney General: Bill Sorrell

I would like to thank all of the members for their attendance at yesterday's
meeting. We met for over six hours and interviewed 3 Candidates for
Governor, 3 Candidates for Lt. Governor and met and talked with the
campaigns for candidates seeking state-wide offices. We had a very through
process to select candidates that support the needs of Professional Fire
Fighters, Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians in Vermont. We will
be issuing press releases in the near future and working to schedule
endorsement announcements with the campaigns. We are formulating plans to
assist in ensuring that our endorsed candidates are elected or re-elected to
office.

Thank you for your continued support, we will need you assistance in this
very busy upcoming campaign season.
